Dave Phillips is now the VP of network at Continent 8 Technologies, the company stated.
Throughout his fifteen years at Google, Phillips served in several leadership capacities across the Engineering, Operations, Delivery, and Product teams.
More than 100 sites across four continents, including 30 US states, are part of the company's global network, which he will manage in this capacity. With offices in the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Canada, Singapore, and India, Phillips will be in charge of a worldwide team of networking experts.
“Dave is a highly experienced network technologist with an incredible amount of experience in the Internet industry having been at Google through their hyper-growth phase over the past 15 years,” said Edward O'Connor, chief technology officer of Continent 8 Technologies.
