It is with much pleasure that we announce the finalisation of the Shortlist for the 11th annual Global Gaming Awards, which will take place in October in Sin City. Stay tuned for an email from the Global Gaming Awards events team contacting all shortlisted firms in the coming weeks.
According to Mariya Savova, the event manager of the Global Gaming Awards, "We're already buzzing for this year's event," following last year's celebration of the event's landmark 10th edition in Las Vegas.
The competition this year is severe since the American gaming sector, especially in the US, is experiencing so much development.
Every single one of the hundreds of nominations we got was deserving of being on the Shortlist, in my honest opinion.
"Regrettably, we are only able to shortlist ten companies per category. If you happen to be one of those fortunate enough, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations on your incredible achievement," she added.
When it comes to gaming, no other awards ceremony compares to the Global Gaming Awards. The only industry awards that make the reasoning behind each nominee's nomination public are these.
Companies' nominations were carefully reviewed in order to determine the Shortlist. Additionally, we sought the advice of numerous advisors and specialists in the field.
Each company's nomination is based on their merit and how well they have done in the Americas within the last twelve to eighteen months. Only one of an entity's brands from each given category can be considered for a finalist spot.
There is also a rigorous voting procedure for the Global Gaming Awards. The judges will be more than a hundred top executives from the land-based and online industries hailing from all across the Americas.
The Judging Panel allows only one executive per company to participate, and judges are banned from voting in categories where they have a conflict of interest through independent adjudication of the voting procedure by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies.
At a luncheon ceremony on October 7, 2024, at the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, the winners will be announced. In September, the complete list of nominees for the Global Gaming Awards Americas 2024 will be made public. Anyone who is unable to come in person can watch the event live online.
Gaming America and Gambling Insider enable the Global Gaming Awards to take place. The official adjudicator for votes in the Crown Dependencies is KPMG. Aristocrat Gaming, SPRIBE, Interblock Gaming, Soft2Bet, Light & Wonder, Play'n GO, NOVOMATIC, and Playtech are among the category sponsors, with BetConstruct serving as the Lead Partner for this year's event.
Recipients of the Global Gaming Awards Americas include the region's top suppliers and operators. Dedicated to the industry in the Asia-Pacific region and the EMEA region, respectively, two more Global Gaming Awards events are held annually.
