With this merger, two Helsinki-based Finnish brands—one aiming to broaden its content offering and the other to increase its global presence—will be brought together.
The goal of Finnplay's acquisition of Air Dice's games is to enhance the company's attractiveness to "current and future operators."
According to Finnplay's VP of sales and marketing, Brian Forth, the company is happy to provide games from Air Dice on their platform.
"Air Dice provides a one-of-a-kind gaming experience, which contributes to our dedication to providing operators with top-notch, distinctive content."
At the same time, Air Dice plans to take advantage of Finnplay's connections to authorised operators and global marketplaces.
This was mentioned by Erkki Nikunen, who was appointed as Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Air Dice earlier this month.
According to his statement, Finnplay is a reputable gaming platform provider whose technology complies with the regulations of numerous regulated gaming jurisdictions.
"With the integration of our Air Dice games catalogue, our brand can reach more international markets. Licensed operators on the Finnplay platform can now enjoy games like Hero of Dragonland, Curvy Corsairs, Fruit Shifter, and many more."
The fact that this integration didn't occur sooner is even more astonishing when considering the apparent benefits. Finnplay and Air Dice both call Helsinki home, as previously mentioned.
Also, Flows's no-code innovation platform was just acquired by Finnplay.
